Totally by chance I have come upon rec.music.squeezebox which at one time {aprox.15 years ago) I had followed this board just about every day. It is great to see some familiar names from back then. Where have I been? Here and there. Somehow I had thought this board has ceased to exist. I have joined again and look forward to reading some more interesting accordion stuff. I always enjoyed it and I can't see why anything should be any different. Looking forward to some interesting talks. OK for now.

Hello Mr Ventura,
Edon
So cool so many are making themselves heard on this thread. I miss the
olden days even though I literally missed some of them.

It is so nice to see familiar names from times gone by. There must be something in my genes that keeps pulling me back. Mr Ventura I must say that your advice regarding the purchase of a Korg I5M is one of my favorite purchases I have made in the accordion world. I admit I have not used it to its full potential but it is on my "Bucket List". If the invitation is still open I would love to visit you in the future. This being said in the past (about 10 years ago) but hopefully before I go room temperature. Glad to hear you are in the grove and the accordion still has a special place in your heart. Looking forward to seeing you.

Tnx
Don

Hi all, yes the group is still a option for finding some information and friends, even the activity is very low. I never left but also did not replay for along time. Somehow I find it did go the wrong way with all this different web based alternative groups that are now in existence beside the social network like Face-book. Posting pictures and links is nice but deep discussion are more or less something of the past, so is my impression. Best regards, Johann

Like many of the old e-mail discussion group I went into hibernation when the public newsgroups took over. I still take a look when something comes up, but unfortunately the more serious discussions tend to get killed off by subscribers who are either not really interested in the topics or just like interrupting the discussions! I think many of us are still here, but just lurking
