I am curious to see where everybody went. No, I will not join the
Yahoo groups, which I gave up some years ago since they took too long
to read every day, and I need some contact with sane accordion people.
At any rate, please let me know that you are still reading?

Thanks.

still reading, but you're one of the few writing for a while. "...sane accordion people?" Things have been slow in both the forums and there's a notable decrease in accordion listings on ebay. Maybe it's a cycle like lemmings or rabbits. Personally I have a few gigs and a steady trickle of instruments here to repair but the phone isn't ringing off the hook. At least I get to practice some. Best, Ed.

Because my site comes up on Google I have repair jobs, and I could get
more if I tried. The busking season might be starting now, and I am
tempted by the easy money, but have repair jobs to finish, including a
couple of Heligonkas and minor things that come in every week or so.

I'm still 'here' but I don't log into the google group unless it's to say something. I get the email notification and, like today, occasionally react to that.

The problem is groups just take up too much time to look at every day. I'm busy - both with repairs and sales and other things! :-) Yahoo groups are totally useless in my opinion: Yahoo regularly forgot my account or password and then accused me of forgetting them, and so I ended up with multiple accounts. And in the end it was also a slow to access group thing. Google is somewhat better, but all groups invite too much unwelcome chatter. Not like the old days when the mailing list only brought useful and/or interesting comment.

You want useful; content? What specifically kind of useful content or
examples?

Is "useful content" an oxymoron?
