I am having trouble finding one row melodeons, can anyone recommend a maker, model, or store? Also say you have a two row box in D/G, would one of the rows(for example the D row) be the same as a one row box in D? If so it would probably make sense to get a two row since they are easier to find.

Two row melodeons won't work the same or sound the same although each
row is usable in the same way. That's because a Cajun one-row melodeon
has 4 sets of reeds rather than the 2 sets per row you would usually
find on a 2 row melodeon.

No luck there unfortunately, any other places to look?
No luck where? Do you need a Cajun accordion or just a one-row?

They might be able to order in a D one for you. I think
D is the most popular one in Newfoundland so they
might just be sold out of them temporarily.
