Hi

I have an Estrella 36 bass accordion and I am looking to get it valued. It is not in a fully working condition and I am unsure of the date of production. It has a pale blue /turquoise finish and as far as I can tell has the original straps and case and comes with a music book by Rose, Morris & Co that cost just 2 shillings and 6 pence! If anyone on here can help me I can email photos.

Thanks

Adam

idk what shape yours is in. The one I rebuilt shown in the video had
among other things warped keys which I took out removed the keytops,
candled with an alcohol lamp to straighten them and re-glued the keytops
to keep them from clacking together and because they were twisted a bit.
By the time all was said and done, the keyboard was whisper quiet.
Of course all the reeds were re-done and new key valves, etc.

This 36 bass was like a 12 X 4 48 bass, but with not the row of 12
counter basses.

Hi Ike. Thanks for your reply. When you post your email address on here it hides half of it. Mine is adamfryatt @ gmail.com (obviously without the spaces - just trying to trick this so you can read it!). Drop me an email and I'll send you some photos.
