Hi, I inherited my Granfathers accordion. I would like to learn more about it. But first, I'd like to know what it is? Could you help me?
How do I post a photo to this group?
I know is a Hohner. Everything is in pearl, it has 6 rows 19 then 18 then 19.....117 total with piano keyboard. I tried to contact Hohner, but they needed a serial number ... No serial number.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

You could also try the very active UK group: http://www.accordionists.co.uk/portal.php
They'll often share that most older accordions aren't worth a lot, especially because there's so many things that can be subtly wrong with them that are very expensive to fix.
Definitely pictures will help to quickly identify the basic model type. Just knowing it's a Hohner makes things easier since that's a well documented brand.
I myself am an amateur enthusiast and probably can't tell you specifics about what you've got. (Neither do I know how to post pictures here, sorry. I've managed it on the UK site I think.)
Post a link top a picture, and I will probably be able to tell you a lot
more.
